This Little YouTube Girl Just BLESSED MY LIFE! Could This Be Your Summer ‘Do?

Oh………………….My…………………………..Goodness!!!!!!

I’ve been agonizing over what to do with this hair this summer.  I am in a rut and feeling some kind of way about keeping up with this hair!  The other thing is that it seems that my hair grows by leaps and bounds during the warmer months.  So, what to do???  I need some way to keep it moisturized, healthy and OUT. OF. MY. WAY.  So I knew this was my golden ticket when I found this video!

I need to get to my hair easily without all the drama of it being in individual braids or wearing a full blown wig (those can be hotter than my thick, dense hair-not to mention itchy!).  I think this will do nicely.  What do you guys think??

Quit Playing & Get Your Copy!

Hey y’all!

It’s been forever since I actually typed up a decent sized post.  But I wanted to pop in and throw you a lifesaver message before school lets out!  I know there are moms out there that are wondering how in the world they’re going to get through the summer with their sanity.  I’ve got just the thing for you!

This book, How NOT to Kill Your Kids Before They Turn 18, is not just funny, but it’s an actual God send!  It has tips on how to manage your household, keep your kids in a mode of being helpful and not hindering, tips to keep yourself organized and so much more.  It covers everything from naps, snacks, communication skills, reward systems, puberty, dating (Lord, help) and everything in between.

If you’d like a sneak peek, check it out on Amazon.com.  It has been such a great help to myself and so many of my friends and followers.  How do I know?  I wrote the book!!

I’d love it if you’d send me a review of the book or leave a comment here and tell me what you think about it.  If you enjoy it so much that you’d like me to speak at your event, to your organization or business in person or virtually, contact me!  I’d love to!!

I’ve gone through another transition from working at home mom to working mom.  I have some tips on transition and some other interesting things.  Be on the lookout for some more videos soon!

Followup (Bus Driver Situation)

Hey y’all,

So…if you didn’t get to read the first part of this post, check it out here.  Ok, so I called the transportation department of the school system and told them everything.  I got a response/question I didn’t expect.  I was asked for the day/time of the incident so they could PULL THE TAPE!  I completely forgot that they have cameras on the bus and that they monitor everything.  So, I thought I’d make it a bit more interesting.  Why not just tell everything that’s been going on and let them find out what the real deal is?

I’ve seen open Gatorade bottles thrown out of the windows, shoes, my kids say she’s gone over the yellow line and white line while driving, not to mention this current incident.  Now in her defense, she’s got a right to leave students who are not at the stop ON TIME.  However, what if she’s coming early?  Yeah, that’s gonna be a follow up discussion too.

Am I the only person dealing with school related foolishness?  What issues have you seen and how did you deal with it?
