Monday Mom Tip(s)…Last big push before Christmas!

Hey everyone!  I don’t know about you, but this has been a whirlwind of a week!  It seems that everyone has planned a meeting, convention, talk, project, assignment or event this past week and put me on the invitation list.  It’s not a bad thing unless you lose one important thing-balance.  I had to make some decisions that some people didn’t like and some that shocked and amazed.  There are times to jump out of the boat and walk on water then there’s times to call on Jesus because you know it’s looking bad!  Anyway, I hope you have found that Jesus is our balance.  He answers every prayer & loves us dearly.  And if Jesus loves us that much, how much more love does the Father have if He sent Jesus just for us?  Well, I hope in all of the hustle and bustle you find your balance.  Or better yet, opt out of the drama completely.  Here are some options that’ll cut down on some stress:

Get enough sleep.  Sleepy leads to cranky and that’s when grumpy and snippy show up.

Ask for help (and take it) when you need it.  There’s no shame in being humble.  Just remember who is good for what!

Take small steps and small bites. Don’t get overwhelmed by overloading yourself.

Making lists and checking items off is a great way to stay organized.

SAY NO.  Then mean it!  Then act on the “NO”!  You don’t have to please everyone.

Book some time for yourself.  You know you need it sometimes.  Don’t feel bad.  Romans 8:1

Be appreciative and giving.

Take deep breaths.  Think.  Repeat the deep breaths.  Pray.  One more deep breath.  Go!

I hope these tips were helpful.  Find over 100 more in my book on parenting and keeping a happy, balanced home.  To get your copy by tomorrow, click the pic.  You’ll be taken directly to Amazon.com where you can see this and my other book.

Have a great week and I’ll be back at the end of the month.  I’m taking a vacay myself and will fill you in on all the antics (or at least the ones that’ll maintain my good name! lol)

Until next time, try NOT to kill your kids before they turn 18!
